Today I took a long walk and looked around the cities of Shimonoseki and Kitakyushu.  Just about everyone around me was ancient, well, at least older than I am.  Seeing them and then thinking more about what Japan needs gave me some ideas for foreign-owned companies looking to make money in the Japanese market.  There are definitely BIG opportunities in areas like tech solutions for an aging population, sustainable energy, and cultural exchange platforms. The air has cleared.  Tourism is making a comeback.  Fan Boys want the world to know that the party is in Japan.  This is the place for you.  Japan is the place for your business.  Nippon will make money for you.  Moreover, you and your finances are safe in Japan.  It is, hands down, the best place to do business in Asia.  

China?  No way.  Hong Kong?  Fun, yeah, but China is ruining it.  Taiwan?  China has its sights set on this island.  Singapore?  It is an island bank.  A crowded, island bank.  Businesses are moving out of Singapore to---JAPAN.
